Congregation Hall and Ceremony Calendar

Congregation Hall and Ceremony Calendar is an EventfullyManaged concept for religious and community organizations that share one building across many uses. It is designed to put every room a place of worship runs on one calendar: worship or prayer halls, the community hall, a small hall, the kitchen, classrooms and, where a tradition needs one, a funeral washing or preparation room. Each booking is designed to carry a type, such as funeral, wedding, naming or coming-of-age ceremony, festival service, class or community rental, with a family contact, the clergy member involved, expected numbers against capacity and any deposit.

In a faith community, the office often takes hall rentals while the clergy keep their own diaries. A funeral can arrive at short notice and usually takes precedence over what was already booked, so rentals and setups are moved by phone and volunteers gathered through messages. The concept is designed to flag clashes as a booking is made, including a clergy member already committed elsewhere, to place a funeral request first and to propose the moves it needs to the bookings it displaces.

The illustrated calendar sits under Venues and shows a sample congregation's Thursday to Tuesday across the last days of Ramadan and Eid. A banner marks a family's funeral request, after the Friday midday prayer, as placed first, and cards count bookings this week, clashes and deposits due. Rooms run down the grid, with capacities on the three halls. On Friday the funeral prayer follows the weekly prayer in the main prayer hall, the washing room is booked that morning with two volunteers, and an Eid bazaar setup in the community hall carries a proposed move to 6 PM. Eid prayer is pencilled into Monday and Tuesday in dashed outline, pending the moon sighting. A nikah, or wedding ceremony, shows its guest count and a paid deposit, and a tutoring club rental shows a deposit due. A funeral side panel gives the family contact, the imam's commitments that morning, expected attendance and a Confirm time with family button. Names and figures are sample data.

The concept builds on EventfullyManaged's venues, event calendar and conflict checks, and is designed to work with three other Burdenoff products. Each confirmed booking is designed to hand its open shifts to CrewFoundry and its hall setup to AssetHandler as a work order; the funeral panel shows washing volunteers, one of two confirmed, and ushers and parking as sent to CrewFoundry, beside an AssetHandler work order for the hall setup. Announcements are designed to wait for the family's agreement before they go to ComradeCircle, as the panel's waiting status shows.
