Save your event workflow now; automation execution is roadmap

Create templates and trigger/action rule records while the execution layer is still being built

Delivery status: Templates and rules are saved configuration today; executing configured triggers and actions remains roadmap.

Save your event workflow now; automation execution is roadmap

Every operations lead has one event that went right — the run-of-show, the reminder cadence, the sponsor onboarding checklist all clicked. Then the next event starts from a blank page and the whole thing gets rebuilt from memory. EventfullyManaged is built to end that.

On the Workflows page, a team saves a proven event as a reusable workflow template — a named, workspace-scoped record they can pull up and start from the next time — and defines automation rules that describe routine work as a trigger and an action: when registration opens, send the welcome sequence; when a sponsor is added, kick off their onboarding; when a refund is requested, route it for approval.

Templates and rules are real records today — you can create, name, edit, and list both from the Workflows and Automations views, each scoped to your workspace and protected by the platform’s RBAC. What comes next on the roadmap is the execution layer: honoring the exact trigger and action you configure and firing it through the platform’s workflow service, so the rules don’t just describe the work — they do it.

For a team that runs a calendar of events rather than a one-off, this is the difference between reinventing the operation every quarter and running a portfolio off a shared, improving playbook. The template captures the good decisions; the rules remove the manual busywork; the next event inherits both.

This is an illustrative, roadmap-framed scenario — automation execution is still being built. It describes the templating and automation experience the platform is being designed to deliver.
