Private events invite families, not individuals. The host imports or types the guest list grouped by household, with the people in each.
Each household gets one invitation link. Whoever opens it answers for everyone: who is coming, to which of the functions, with meal choices, dietary needs and accessibility requirements. No account and no app are needed.
The host sees live counts per function and per meal, which go straight to the caterer’s workstream as the confirmed headcount. Households that have not answered get a gentle reminder in their own channel.
Changes are easy: a guest who can no longer come updates the same link, and the counts adjust everywhere.
